Hard love
I have this problem of falling in love really hard.
I sometimes see images and illustrations which made me physically want to throw up hearts and rainbows because they are just so darn lovely. Today I think I overdid the visual amazingness that I bumped across online. Does that happen to you? Not only for illustrations but something you love? The best code ever written for the coding enthusiast or the best piece of advice ever given in a single sentence for the budding shrink.
I need to get up, have a coffee and smell dead roses so I can balance things out. Honestly.

Hot hot hot
My family is going to be down in a couple of days and I'm up to my nose in work and happiness. So excited and worried and oh my goodness, HOT! This isn't the Bangalore weather that anyone's signed up for. Not the Bangalore weather we rave about and definitely not the Bangalore weather that is Bangalore weather. If one cried about it, you can be assured they will be tears of sweat. If that's not hot enough, I can do some more horrendous comparisons.

Sev me from my terrible explanations.
I inked so much today, that after scanning (probably tomorrow), I'm pretty sure I can sell them as newspaper weight. I'm patting myself on the head.
(For those unaware of what the pun-intended-image above is about; Sev (pronounced 'save') is an addictive, amazing, I-don't-mind-some-right-now, Indian fried snack, or go something that goes along with Indian snacks. The only comparison, and probably the worst, is it being the savoury fried cousin of 'sprinkles'.
Wiki, help me out, please:
Sev is a popular Indian snack food. Sev is essentially small pieces of crunchy noodles made from chickpea flour paste which is seasoned with turmeric, cayenne, and Ajwain before being deep-fried in oil. These noodles vary in thickness. Sev is eaten as a standalone snack as well as a topping on dishes like Bhelpuri and Sevpuri.
That sounds more like it. Savoury sprinkles, I called them. gosh!

Tik-tok'ing
I found this old drawing I did, based on Kesha's song 'Tik Tok'. I'm guessing with the fact that I drew this two years ago, and things are still as they were, that my future doesn't seem too free-time-ish.

My sister, my sister
My sister makes me laugh like no other. I mean I literally cry with laughter EVERY TIME. I guess it's also because we both have a terribly unnatural crude sense of humour. Also because she's weird. Weirder than me. I mean I caught her pulling her fingers into yoga-pose-inspired shapes in the middle of our conversation like it was no biggie. She's an odd one, she. She made me cry with laughter again when I asked her to hold her hands up. Don't worry there's nothing wrong with her hands, though the doc told her that her joints are overtly flexible, as you can tell.
Gosh, I miss her:(

What I drink
I just made such a strong cup of Jasmine tea, that for a moment I felt like I was drinking a local woman's hair. This was a bad idea.
An ant-sized question
Sometimes I feel like this really IS the best time to be living. I mean, I just wondered if blowing off an ant off my teacup would save it or kill it and when I was young and voila! Beloved Google has brought it to my attention that my query is but a common one.
So incase you're wondering, would an ant survive being thrown off the Empire State building?
The answer is:
The force of gravity on an ant is really tiny. If there were no air, an ant (and everything else) would accelerate at 9.81 meters per second per second. The resistive force due to air drag increases with the speed and opposes the motion. Eventually, an object goes fast enough so the drag force is equal and opposite to the gravitational force, and the object no longer accelerates. We say it has reached "terminal velocity".
The terminal velocity for an ant in air is quite small -- no more than two meters per second, I guess (having dropped a number of ants from about a meter myself). Ants are also amazingly durable -- they have very hard exoskeletons. I think the ant will have no trouble surviving that fall!
Some ants even have wings and can fly!
